What is dyzio and why should I authenticate?
Dyzio works with brands and agencies who are managing influencer marketing campaigns and are looking to track the performance and ROI of the posts in real-time.

The ability to have live rich analytics data (like impressions, reach, demographic data and watch time) enables brands and agencies to understand the effectiveness of each influencer post and the campaign overall, This accurate and timely data helps them make future media investment decisions, including what and when to spend on new influencer marketing campaigns.

Are there other benefits, after I authenticate?
For influencers, once you have authorised your social channels to dyzio there is no need to share screen shots for your branded posts, the data is live and available on the platform and the client can see how effective your posts are, in reaching and engaging with your audience.

The dyzio team are looking to add new features for influencers, including downloadable media cards and the ability to share your campaign data with clients, for all your branded activities.

Is it secure?

dyzio uses secure OAuth to fetch the Facebook Tokens and data. This is the recommended way to fetch data from all of the social platforms. We support 2FA on all our server calls to all the platforms.

  • the tokens are kept in a secure database

  • the tokens are read-only and cannot be used to post or create content

  • the tokens are secured so only Dyzio can use them

  • the tokens can be invalidated at any time by the influencers (delete the Dyzio APP integration from your Facebook Business Integrations Settings)

  • the tokens are created using Facebook’s own approved OAuth security workflow

  • Our app is approved and checked regularly by Facebook. This is exactly how Facebook/Instagram intend for data to be shared

Tracking Instagram Stories
Dyzio can track Instagram stories data and add this to a campaign, once you have authenticated your Instagram channel to Dyzio. Dyzio will only add data from stories that includes the agreed #tag in the description. Data includes: reach; impressions; taps forward; taps back and exits.

What access does dyzio require?
Dyzio requires 'read only' access from the Influencers to retrieve insights data from their main social media platforms. Dyzio can currently fetch insights data from Youtube, Facebook and Instagram. Insights data is either at the audience level (e.g. channel demographics) or the campaign level, i.e. data pertaining to reach, impressions, watch time and engagements (likes, comments, shares, reactions etc.) - related to a specific post or video.

The access is handled using Open Authentication which allows the Influencer to sign in to Youtube/Facebook/Instagram and grant read permissions to the dyzio application. Dyzio will receive a token that only dyzio can use to fetch data from the various Social Networks' APIs.

Can dyzio make any changes to my social accounts?
Dyzio cannot make any uploads, edits or deletes to the Influencer data or content, as we only have read access. Technically, the dyzio app could request data about any asset held by the influencer account but we commit to not doing that.

Additional notes:
Dyzio will never request any data which has not been explicitly authorised by the influencer through the dyzio influencer interface.

Dyzio retrieves data such as likes/comments from public APIs. We will continue to collect this daily, separately from the authenticated Insights data.

Dyzio will only store data from the Insights API for assets that have been explicitly authorised.

Dyzio will not fetch any extra data on behalf of the agency/client (such as channel demographics), unless agreed / approved explicitly by the influencer.

Dyzio will not delete any shared data without explicit consent from both agency and influencer.

Dyzio is designed to make it easy for influencers to share only the data they want to share with agencies. It is down to the agency and influencer to contractually determine what data the influencer is obliged to provide to the campaign.

After the campaign has finished the Influencer can delete the dyzio app from their OAuth permissions in Facebook/Youtube/Instagram. This will absolutely block dyzio from accessing any further data (but will not destroy data we have saved already)

Facebook

We require the 'manage pages' permission to get the read insights permission. This permission lists the number of Facebook pages available to access, it does not enable dyzio to change, update, edit or delete content on the pages.

Instagram

An Instagram Business Account or Creator Account is required for authentication to Dyzio. The Instagram account also needs to be linked to your Facebook account, as Instagram data is provided via Facebook to dyzio. Instagram accounts also need to be connected to your Facebook account.

Twitter

Dyzio currently does not support fetching twitter insights (reach, impressions, engagements). If you are interested in this data pls contact sales@dyzio.co.
