First things first!

Why do I need to create a Facebook Fan Page?

In order to authorise your Instagram account to Dyzio, the Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Fan Page (or Facebook Business Page). Facebook owns Instagram and all the analytics data comes via the Facebook API, and for this to work there needs to be a link between your Instagram account and a Facebook Fan Page.

What if I don't have a Facebook Fan Page?

You can simply create your Facebook Fan Page, give it the same name as your Instagram account and then link the two accounts from the settings tab. When collaborating on professional marketing campaigns you will be asked to provide or grant access to your Insights data and this is currently how your accounts have to be set-up.

How can I create a Facebook Fan Page?

via Facebook on desktop

  1. Login into your Facebook account on a PC / Mac

  2. In the top-right corner of the homepage click on 'Create'. A drop-down menu will appear. Click on 'Page'.

3. On the right side of the page is the 'Community or Public Figure' heading. Click on the Get Started button.

4. Enter a page name - we suggest to give it the same name as your Instagram account. Start typing a category in the box and choose a suggested category from the dropdown menu - e.g. personal blog. Click 'Continue'.

5. At this point you can upload a profile and a cover picture. If you don't want to do this now, click 'Skip' instead.

via Facebook mobile app

1. Login into your Facebook app and tap on the hamburger menu in either the bottom-right corner of the screen (iPhone) or the top-right corner of the screen (Android).
2. Scroll down and click 'Pages'.
3. Hit the '+ Create' button in the top-right corner of the page. Then tap 'Get Started' at the bottom of the screen
4. Add a 'Category', a page name and a profile picture.
